Changes to interest rates

We’ve made some changes to the interest rates on a number of our Savings and Transaction Accounts and their Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), effective Thursday 10 December 2020.

You can see the details of the interest rate changes we’ve made below, and these will also be detailed in your account transactions in Internet Banking, the Mobile Banking App, and in your next account statement:

Current Accounts

55+ Account

Reduced the rate for balances between $50,000 - $250,000 from 0.45% pa to 0.35% pa.

Reduced the rate for balances over $250,000 from 0.65%pa to 0.55% pa.

Association Account

Removed the rate tiers. All balances will now receive 0.05% pa.

Netsave Account

Removed the bonus rate. All balances will receive 0.20% pa on their savings.

Bonus Savings Account

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 0.60% pa to 0.50% pa.

Children’s Savings Account

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 1.45% pa to 1.35% pa.

Discontinued Accounts

Online Savings Account

Reduced the bonus rate for eligible account holders from 0.30% pa to 0.20% pa.

First Home Saver Account

Reduced the rate on the entire balance from 0.50% pa to 0.40% pa.
