Financial Hardship Assistance

If you're experiencing financial difficulty, reach out to our team early so we can help you work out the best solution for you.

As a member of Credit Union SA, if you ever have difficulty meeting your financial obligations to us due to financial hardship, or anticipate being in that situation in the near future, we may be able to assist.

Under our Financial Hardship Assistance Policy, which goes well beyond National Credit Code requirements, all individual and small business members are eligible to apply for support, most often in the form of altered repayment terms.

As you’d expect, all applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and approval can’t be guaranteed. But rest assured, we will make our decision as quickly as possible, and usually within seven business days of receiving all necessary information and documentation.
